i m graduated from china and want to give license exam
which one is better option?
usmle or plab?

 

well USMLE is better in sense you can pursue your career further and get American board specialist degree. But job prospects are diminishing after 2015 in USA for training posts, however you may get job as GP in some peripheral areas.
After PLAB job chances are less these days and they have made rules for IMGs tougher than before, so surviving there is getting harder day by day.
My suggestion for every one is to do Post graduation after acquiring PMDC registration.

 

hmm right bt if somebody have family in ENGLAND thn PLAB is the only option!

i have jst taken IELTS exam,plz do pray gor me to come out with flying colors meeting the new n tougher criteria

 

inshaALLAH you can do it. PLAB is not much hard

 

i have done my usmle step 1 and pmdc part 1 .....now preparing for step 2 of both...

Actually it is overkill... i also advice u to first clear pmdc then go for post graduation exams...
u need to score minimum 230+ in usmle which is very hard for us...

 

actually i got my IELTS result with required bands n now i want to take plab 1,i have done my graduation from china n havn't yet completed housejob,my parents r britian national bt i'm pakistani,as my home is there so i have to move there anyhow n being on medical side this is the only option,i have gone through GMC site bt i've seen in ACCEPTIBILITY CRITERIA tht u should have atleast 55oo hours in total of ur med studies in medical school bt in china its semester system n tht mch hour r not possible,i m v depressed n i really dnt know wt to do,i need ur sincere advice n favour too,plz guide me wt to do next?

 

well many of chinese graduates have done PLAB. I havent read about these hours thing in rules for PLAB for IMGs. you please proceed with the application process, thats it.
