Umema, there are some benefits of fcps and some are of usmle, i tell you some points
I f you have to live in Pakistan, if you have not much economical support, if you want to be a consultant early, if you dont have 2,3 years spare time to spend on usmle and if you have family bonds then you must do fcps,
if you have craze to go abroad (as most of the ppl have), if you have plenty of spare time and money, if you want to earn dollars and if you have no specific field of interst (bcz after doing usmle they ll give you residency according to ur merit not ur choice) then u can do usmle,

The only motivation for going abroad is craze and dollars nothing else, here you can become a good doctor and you will become a consultant in 4-5 years. I am coaching the students of fcps-1, usmle-1, mrcs-A, mrcog-1 and i know the worth of every degree, if you want further help you can contact me

Dr. relucent is right and explained very well, and here is the ans with a bit different angle
USMLE is just licensing exam for U.S and FCPS is just like entry exam into the Post graduate training, thats the basic difference
    but
if u look into long term overall differences, USMLE has an edge for u will be getting Americal Board certification and will be in USA and having lot of income, and while choosing FCPS u will be getting FCPS BUT lower income as compared to USA etc etc .. while FCPS has an edge for u will be going to be specialist in less time.
The time required to complete FCPS is 4-5 years (excluding preparation time and provided u pass the examinations in first attempts), while doing USMLE and getting American board certification in a speciality is around 5 to 7 years roughly, depending on speciality, and including USMLE completion time, provided u pass the examinations in first attempts.
