pmdc or mrcp ? guide please

To all the respected seniors
Assalam alaikam,
I am a medical graduate from china living in Saudi Arab.
After Mbbs i did my internship from saudia (9 months)and got my internship certificate too.
Now,to appear in Sle and get registered in saudia and apply for the job i visited the local (scfhs) Saudi commission for health specialist office many times to apply for prometric sle exam to get myself registered but according to them" Saudi Moh has stopped recruiting and accepting application of medical graduates from china even if they have completed internship from Saudi unless some one do higher studies or pg".
The second problem (as far i know)is even after clearing Pmdc he/she will not be eligible or allowed to appear in sle (or whatever moh scfhs) exam is because even after clearing pmdc his/ her basic mbbs degree will remain same from china as all of us know pmdc is for registration and license to practice in Pakistan and it has nothing to do with moh saudia (correct me if i am wrong about this).
Now with due respect my question is what should i do ??
Should i go for pmdc and spend more time may be two years on it to get myself pass?

Or should i go for mrcp part 1 as i can appear from here and what is the scope(value)of mrcp in Pakistan if someone clears?
Or should i do something else ?
as i am living in Saudi and playing to work here as far as i can (in sha Allah)
Any help ,guidance or suggestion will be considered a great help for me ,
Please guide me it will take only few minutes from your precious time .

Do you mean housejob by internship?
Yes, they are not taking chinese graduates these days, and its been for about 1 year and more.
Even if you do PMDC they wont take you unless you have post graduation.

Lets say you go for MRCP and clear both steps in 1st attempt. Then you will need experience of 2 years in same speciality. So, where would you get that experience from? You dont have PMDC or SLE at the moment, and getting experience will need either of them.
so, what i suggest is go for PMDC or PLAB and you can get job in UK or UAE as well if you have passed PLAB. You may get SLE eligibility as well due to PLAB coz these people just cant say NO to west. I am confirmed about UAE that you will get job on basis of PLAB but i am not sure about Saudia.
My suggestion is to prepare for both PLAB and PMDC and attempt both and try to win both.

by internship i mean purely internship not house job.
please don't mind asking me another question ,
what is the difference between mrcp and plab ?
in my condition i just need to clear the mrcp 1 so that i can say to the( scfhs) saudi comission for health specialist that i have cleared mrcp part 1 and now allow me to appear in sle .

and regarding pmdc i have heard that the next step will be in first week of july,2014 so if i think for pmdc then it is not possible to appear as the time is short and my preparation is not good enough to appear in july as now i am in saudia so i think i will go for mrcp as it will be in september 9,2014 (in sha Allah).

MRCP is the UK Royal college of Physicians membership, its like diploma in medicine. PLAB is the licensing exam of UK just as PMDC is for Pakistan.
Well, they wont allow you for SLE after MRCP1 as MRCP1 doesnt make you different than MBBS, its just first part of the series of 3 exams. After passing 3 exams you become a specialist but as i said earlier, you need 2 years or more experience to complete MRCP.
If the SCFHS said to you so, that after MRCP1 exam they could allow you for SLE than its another case and don't rely on words of these saudis, get written official statement, which seems to be difficult in such case.
You can go for november exam and get prepared for PMDC. It will need your full dedication for prep.

AOA. with due respect to drwatson. would you please like to tell me that what can be the exemption of PMDC NEB exam after passing MRCP2 exam.

 

Wsalam. If you have passed all steps of mrcp then you are exempted from pmdc exam for post graduation.
If you have not passed whole mrcp, exemption is not granted.
