    MRCP 1 Requirements

    1. Every candidate for the MRCP(UK) Diploma must hold a qualification recognised by the Royal Colleges of Physicians as from an institution awarding primary medical degrees. Where the MRCP(UK) is unable to verify an institution it will consult the
World Health Organisation Directory of Medical Schools. If the qualification does not appear in this list the application cannot be accepted, unless it is recognised by the UK General Medical Council or the applicant is registered with the GMC. (Please note that a small number of institutions included in the WHO Directory are not accepted by the GMC, in which instances the application also cannot be accepted.)

    2. Candidates will not be admitted to the MRCP(UK) Part 1 Examination until 12 months after the date of graduation given on their diploma of medical qualification. If the date of graduation is significantly later than the date of completion of training, the date on which candidates received notice of passing their final examination may be
considered. In such cases, candidates should submit documentary proof. Candidates for the MRCP(UK) Part 1 Examination must have had at least 12 months’ experience in medical employment by the date of the examination, i.e. must have
completed Foundation Year 1 or equivalent.

I think House Job is not necessary for MRCP exam as they have not mentioned in their website for any documentary proof for that except Medical Diploma of the Graduate as Dr Watson has already mentioned, but it is good to have some clinical experience before going for the Exam (MRCP) .

Any Additional Information regarding House job proof please Mention.

    Thanks.

@drwatson . On their site it's been mention that primary med qualification documents should be atested by UK ambassador or notary public. So we can easily go for notary? As ambassy attestation would quite b difficult.
2 question.. They mention 12 months experience means housejob. But didn't demand for house job certificate. So should we submitted it too?
3 question. Above mention documents would be enough or any other requirements.? Offcourse fees is mandatory
    :)

    Thanks for compliments
    1. You can get your documents attested by
    • the issuing University or Medical School

    • a British Consulate or British Council outside the UK

    • the British Embassy

    • the British High Commission

    • the candidate’s own Embassy

    • the High Commission in the UK

    • a member of the Gardai in the Irish Republic

    • Government Ministries of Health

    • a notary public

    2. Yes they say that 12 months house job is a must, if they demand it's proof then submit that otherwise don't. I don't know because i haven't submitted application my self.
    3. Yes these are enough for part 1 mrcp exam.
