Look, five brothers were there
Friends for life
Never were they seen
To be at strife
Roots they were
Emerging from the same tree
This tree being the spinal cord
From where anterior rami fleas
These five root values
All have separate names
C5, C6, C7, C8, TI, similar they are
But not entirely same
Later on in life,
Their friendship got weak
Divided they got
Thanks to grudges and ill speech
C5 and C6 formed
A separate superior trunk
C8 and T1 gave rise
To an inferior trunk
C7 was left alone
Cuz he was the only good one
Well better’s to be alone
Than with bad company have fun
Old they got
Businesses they started
Intelligent, hardworking they were
With success they were granted
Even C7 alone
Succeeded with his work
‘cuz God was his friend
So with success He had him whorled
All three business groups flourished
And formed 2 branches each
These anterior, posterior divisions,
From neck to axilla they reach
Through the cervico-axillary canal
They must pass
Posterior to the clavicle’s
Hard bony mass
Anterior divisions supply
Anterior compartments or the flexors
Posterior ones supply
The posterior ones or the extensors
Then the brothers turned good
They quiet made up
Fight they not now
For business partnership they’re up
The anterior divisions of trunks
Of superior and middle
They form the lateral cord
It’s that simple
The anterior of inferior
Formed the medial on its own
Posterior cord is formed
By the three posterior clones
Lateral, posterior and medial
These are the three cords
They work hard and now
Their business flourishes a lot
Relative to the axillary artery,
These are named
‘cuz of terminal, collateral nerves
They, got their fame…
