Do we foreigner need a platform?an organization???

we are foreign graduates ,we are not out of this world!!!our parents spent A LOT OV MONEY ON US TO GET A degree a name !!!!!when we go abroad we have a lot ov dreams!!!!after leaving abroad spending sum imp days festivals without loved ones!!!!come back to pakistan to work here!!!
but wat happens
1st ov all wastage of tym as created by pmdc
2nd every tym new new ways to degrade pakistani foreign students by pmdc lyk they made a new pattern this year
3rd if unfortunately we get through honorary house job
in honorary house job i personally observed foreigners who come after clearing NEB are more lient and hard working as compared to local and if there is any paid seat available foreigner is not preferd bojection is put on him just simply foreign graduate not eligible for this
4th if done house job having plan to do fcps if luckkily get through again in merit at the end!!!!!
there is a gossip which i heard that pmdc ppl are thinking that foreign student ater clearing pmdc at least work 3 year for govt there is no proof of this just a gossip

i think now after these issues we should have some organization some platform to represent us that thr is no more joke of us

ya a sophisticated organization should be there for pfmsgs ... but not one making blunders and blocking roads, instead making our way with negotiations and law ....

There should be a platform for foreign graduates to fight for their right, otherwise the things are going to get harder n harder.

 

i totally agree with u all...this is what every PFMSG is thinking..but no one is there to come forward to fight for our basic rights...what are we?? is this our future..?after every six months we face the same embarssement even after hard study and a good paper...what is our place??day by day we are going down n down...even ppl thinks we dont know anything and we cant do anything in pakistan.but i am sure we PFMSG are much more better than Pakistani graduates...there must be a platform for us...but we only need someone who can fight for our rights ,the one with the leadership qualities,Comeon standup and join your hands to do something for our better future,afterall we can change this system,we are not weak ppl,we are strength...this year more than 1000 students will appear..comeon guys lets join together and fight for our right...WE CAN CHANGE IT....I HOPE ALL THE MEMBERS WILL AGREE ON WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY....

PFMSG organization should have objectives like ...? Need to put scattered points in different minds, together.
1. To discuss issues of pfmsgs with pmdc more openly.
2. To device the best exam system for us.
3. Proper housejob arrangements.
4. Proper internship arrangements/programs.
5. Counselling on Selection of universities for new students?
And ?? Ur views

Every 1 should have to be active, not like what i'm seeing that only 10% or so pfmsgs are active. Show the activity so one could assume that here we got potential strength.

Let's do something, not only for this single issue, but for all millions of shits happening in Pakistan. Life is short, 25 years passed, 25 years or so left, didnt do anything special in first 25 years, lived like a coward nation, hiding and asking others to do something, asking help like we were paralyzed, compromising on everything, our religion, our customs.
May be we can not make Pakistan like a heaven in these remaining 25 years, but we definitely can try to do so. Why don't we make our children safe if we can not make ourselves safe ? Why are we so selfish ? I am not going to blast innocent people nor I am asking you, I am neither going to call for a strike nor I am asking you to do so. I am not asking Zardari to resign, another will come.
We need a change.

We can come up with an idea and can work on this in a managed way because we all are educated, we all are mature, we can think, we can change. Don't worry, if we can not get fruit in this life we will get it anyway somewhere else (we know where).

yes, we do need a platform to stand united and firm, so to work for our rights.I agree with all what has been stated above,if things keep on going like in the past months then definitely it will be impossible for Pfmsg to hav a bright future in coming years.If students are continuously promoted through back doors channels, they will be the one representing majority of foreign gradutes in hospitals,with lack of sufficient knowledge,thus putting an overall bad impression abt Pfmsg,and soon we won't be considered for even unpaid hj...... or u can even expect worst, so lets try to stop all this rubbish, so onl;y those who deserved to pass, should be passed.Now a days its common in some acad,offering students 7 lac package ........
i think we need to take some practical measures...... what if we decide the agenda first and then give a peaceful strike infront of lahore press club or isb press club ??????? wat u say guyz..........???

 

instead of strikes,think of evry gud move 1st.let the strikes the last resort.
Raise the issue in media n involve court 1st.i bleve this wud work.

 

how should we start it ? wats the best way to involve media ????

SALAM to all......This is my first visit to this PFMSG........sound interesting......M also a foreigner....vid some very good experience & achievement while working in public setup of punjab.......share vid u guys later.....must be motivating factor for all of u excel forward in pakistan and outside as well while being a FOREIGN pakistani medical graduate..........
YEAAH foreign students do need a platform from where they can excel.give them a boost,polish their hidden QUALITIES.......I AGREE.....

Ok enough said all of u. I think i m the most senior member in this forum n have got experienceof not only teaching in pakistan but also in china. I have tried to guide students in certain ways, so as their time, which is the most precious, should not be wasted.

Well i m sorry, but i do not agree with most of u of having an organization or whatever for this or albiet any of the causes. This problem should be addressed in the most logical n practical way as possible. However, we all need a forum to exchange views, advices n comments, n i think, we already have one.

Coming to the important thing. When students were leaving for china, they were going for higher aims then to be just able to do housejobs etc. Keep in mind the future after 5 yrs of mbbs n not sooner after that. When u have done mbbs from china,, in fact u dont belong to the line of production of pakistani professional education system. U have ur own ways. Think beyond what u c. Anyhow, again diverting from the same important subject.

May bes some dont agree with me, but anyhow, my 19 yrs of experience will lay down for u ppl certain way outs, which i have seen for most of my students working. But plz remember i m talking of those students who have been very serious about their study during mbbs:. I m sorry, these suggestions cant help those who enjoyed their lives in china, too much.

1. The most practical one is, after completing internship, come back to chona, get ur degree n immediately join, clinical, basic or preclincal course of master programs. Plz do not waste these enthusiasticn energetic years in doing house jobs n being shunned from society. Believe me, if u waste these early yrs after mbbs, u will never ever get a mood to pick up books for pg.
2. After getting ur degree comeback to pak, dont go for any job,sit on the eggs, and get urself prepare for either PLAB, USMLE, AMC OR MoE examinations to be elligble as a doctor in foreign countries. Most can do this within 6 months to 1 year.

3. This is the last oneas i m runnong out of suggestions. Go back to pak, try to sit in neb of pmdc. Go on trying. Cursing urself, wasting time n money. Then let me know.
